​A very enjoyable afternoon and thank you Chardstock for coming all that way. Unfortunately you met a couple of Budleigh teams who were on form on the day and the result was a win for the home team 51-20. 
I’m sure they will get their revenge when we meet them on their home ground in the summer.

Another full house and a successful quiz and fish and chip event last night. But there was drama at the end when the scores were totted up, as neither of the two previous winners were able to retain their previous top form and the worthy winners were Anne, John, Tim and Sue, pictured above with the quizmaster John, and Tony Mackness. Well done.
Thanks to John for the quiz and the other volunteers who helped make this such an enjoyable event.

​A great win for our ladies today against Madeira. 
A very enjoyable afternoon and a win on both rinks for Budleigh at home.
On rink 1 Lynda, Melissa and Marilyn were behind nearly all the way until the last four ends when they drew level then crept ahead and maintained that lead until the final end.
On rink 2 Annie, Ann and Gwen were trailing Madeira until the half way stage then drew ahead and never looked back.
Well done to you all.
