So the pesky Peskies (minus Evelyn) regained the prestigious trophy last night in a closely fought battle with The Other Team. The questions confounded many, as the difficulty level had been increased by the evil Quizmaster and the high scores of previous quizzes were sadly unattainable.
Again, there were internal disputes within the teams about the answers, to be brought up at some future date no doubt, but all were friends at the end of the night.

It was an enjoyable afternoon, resulting in a marginal victory for both the Sidmouth teams, but we put up a good fight!

An enjoyable afternoon, welcoming the Exonia ladies to Budleigh. But sadly the result wasn’t in our favour. 
Ann, Melissa and Marilyn had a strong start on rink 1, it was level pegging at the half way stage. A few big wins put paid to the brief lead and Exonia finished strongly.
Angela, Gwen and Marilyn on rink 2 were well behind at the half way stage but rallied well to lead going into the last end, a good 3 from the Exonia ladies meant the final score went their way.
Congratulations to Exonia and well played to our ladies!!
