 Chardstock were our guests on Saturday 27th and we enjoyed a friendly game with good humour, despite their loss to us on both rinks. Well done to all and thanks to them for travelling all that way.

 A good social afternoon match against the friendly teams from Honiton, who are always a pleasure to host and after two well fought games, it resulted in a win for the Budleigh teams. Well played everyone!
 We were a happy bunch before the match and I am pleased to report that, despite a narrow defeat for the ladies after two exciting final ends, we were a happy bunch after the match. Both ladies teams were holding 4 and 6 respectively, before Andy killed the end on his rink and on ours we were holding 6 before John skillfully (the author says through gritted teeth!) reduced it to one. A very jolly afternoon with mince pies at tea. Well played everyone and we’ll meet again next year.
The Budleigh team looked happy before the match against Exonia yesterday. Not so happy at the end! Enough said!
 A close match against Honiton but they managed to win overall on their home rink by 2 points. Better luck next time Budleigh.
