Visiting St Thomas Team

St Thomas came to Budleigh today for a return match, after we beat them in May, and they brought the big guns with them this time! Although we were on our home turf, they quickly got the run of our green and at half time had achieved a noticeable lead. Tea didn’t do a lot to rally our troops and the away team had a convincing victory. We did win on two rinks, but the scores were well in favour of the away team on the other two rinks. An enjoyable, but frustrating afternoon for our players.
​Big "thank you" to Gwen who stepped in at the last minute to replace a missing player, she had a good afternoon and was a member of one of the winning teams.
