Indoor Bowls
Our two full length indoor bowls rinks are in use from late September until mid-April. The club participates in cup competitions throughout Devon and plays friendly matches against local clubs. There are also internal, county and national tournaments for those wishing to participate.
Free tuition, coaching and loan of bowls are available for new members or those wishing to join.

2025 / 2026 Season
The Indoor season for 2025 / 2026 is now well underway. Budleigh Bowls Club is going online with a new booking system from this season on. Booking online for friendly matches will be used from November 2025. The guide for the new system can be found using the link below.

Indoor Internal Competitions
The Indoor Internal competitions will begin soon. There is an entry sheet in the ladies and men's changing room for this season's internal competitions.
The aim is to run 3 ladies singles competitions, 3 men's singles competitions plus a mixed/open pairs competition as last season:
The closing date for entry is Friday 7th November.
We need a minimum of 8 entries per competition (and hopefully a lot more, 16+!).
The finals are scheduled to be played on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th April 2026. Please try and ensure that you are available to play on these finals dates if you enter these competitions.
Further rules/details will be provided later, in particular with regard to the deadline dates for playing each round.
Please show your support and sign up on the entry sheet to enter as many competitions as you can. Sign up using the sheets in the club changing rooms and soon the online system being introduced this year.
Please note that new club members with limited experience are encouraged to enter these competitions provided they know the basics of how to play the game.

Indoor Triples League
This is a friendly but competitive internal league run every Wednesday and Thursday morning, by David Tomlinson, starting early in October. Teams are made up of 6 or more players, from which 3 are chosen by the Team Captain and notified at the start of the season on which dates they will be playing. You only usually play once a fortnight and usually with the same team members. This year there will be 6 teams. Each team will play every week.
Be aware that one match every week will be played on rink 2 on Thursday morning. The other two matches will be played as usual on Wednesday morning. The fixture list is displayed in the Members Area.
